Cosmetic DermatologyBotox®A physician-administered treatment for mild to severe facial wrinkles on the forehead and crow's feet areas. Botox® Cosmetic works by reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause persistent lines that have developed over time. Botox® can also be used for excessive sweating in localized areas. Treatment may last 3-6 months.
| Restylane®A non-animal, biodegradable gel, Restylane® is a naturally occurring substance that restores volume to the skin, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance. Restylane® is used to treat a variety of wrinkles and folds in the face, and generally lasts for about 6 months.
| Juvederm®
Juvéderm™ is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Your healthcare professional eases Juvederm injectable gel under the skin to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds—the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth). Juvederm is FDA approved to last for about 6 months up to a year.
| Laser Hair RemovalLaser hair removal results in "permanent hair reduction." Data has shown that 60-85% of hairs appear to be permanently removed by use of a laser light that targets the pigment of the hair follicle. An average of 4 to 10 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart, are required in order to obtain desirable results. Our office can treat most skin tones. Ask your doctor for more information!
| Laser treatment of broken blood vessels
The Diolite is a laser that can effectively remove many unwanted vascular or pigmented spots on the skin. The blood cells in the vessel attract and absorb heat from the laser and this causes the vessel wall to close down. Individual responses vary considerably. Sometimes only one treatment is needed, other times several are necessary. Treatments are recommended at approximately monthly intervals. This laser is most commonly used for blood vessels around the nose area. This is a common area for blood vessels to recur, so it is possible you may need treatments in the future.

Chemical Peels are composed of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acids. They exfoliate dead skin cells and stimulate new skin cells to come to the surface, making your skin appear healthier and more youthful.

Superficial Depth Peels
*Lactic Acid is derived from milk. Perfect for those with sensitive, dry, and rosacea-prone skin.
*Mendelac Acid is an AHA derived from almonds. Its anti-bacterial properties help treat minor to moderate acne with little to no irritation.
* Glycolic Acid (20%-70%) is an AHA derived from natural sugars. Glycolic acid peels are safe in pregnancy with little or no downtime.
* Salicylic Acid (20% or 30%) is a BHA derived from aspirin. Useful for acne prone skin given its affinity to oil producing pores. These peels are not given to patients with an aspirin allergy and are not recommended during pregnancy.
Medium Depth Peel
*ViPeel- This is a non-invasive peel comprised of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), phenol, salicylic acid, vitamin C, and Retin-A. Safe to use on any skin type. The Vi Peel will dramatically improve your skin tone, texture, and clarity.

Dermaplaning gives the skin a smoother appearance, removing the skin's top layers through a method of pleasant sloughing. It is used to improve skin texture and the appearance of small facial wrinkles. It can alsoremove the "peach fuzz," which can trap excess dirt and oil.
