Welcome Dr. Lio

Dermatology and Aesthetics of Wicker Park is pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Lio will be joining our practice on September 14, 2010.    Dr. Lio is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Lio received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed his internship at Boston Children’s Hospital and his dermatology training at Harvard.

He served as a full-time faculty at Harvard (Beth Israel & Children’s Hospital Boston) from 2005-2008 before returning home to his native Chicago to join Northwestern and Children’s Memorial Hospital. While at Northwestern, Dr. Lio created and directed the Eczema Care and Education Center, and has spoken nationally and internationally about eczema and atopic dermatitis, as well as alternative medicine. He continues to be active in clinical research and serves as a section editor for the Archives of Diseases in Childhood.

Dr. Lio lives in the South Loop neighborhood with his family and is excited to join Dermatology and Aesthetics of Wicker Park. He is committed to providing the highest level of care to patients of all ages. His special interests include eczema and other inflammatory diseases of the skin, integrating alternative and complementary medicines in dermatology and pediatric dermatology.

Farewell Dr. Pomroy
